BAGMA works with and in co operation with many companies and organisations in the Land Based Engineering Sector. These companies and organisations can be manufacturers and suppliers, other trade associations, government departments such as VOSA, the DFT or HSE, colleges and training organisations and of course dealers and our own BAGMA members.

The UK agricultural, ground care and garden machinery industry in the UK is estimated to be worth around four billion pounds to the UK economy. The machinery manufacturers, suppliers and machinery dealers in the UK all play a significant role in supporting the British economy and farming in the UK ensuring that we can produce food and feed. The ground care and garden machinery dealers provide equipment to preserve our sporting way of life and provide both professional and domestic gardener’s with a variety of equipment to ensure that our parks, sports fields, gardens and leisure areas are maintained to a high standard.

The latest state of the art technology is used in the machinery sold by UK dealers and requires dealers support staff to be trained to a high standard in advanced diagnostics, hydraulics, mechatronics, Global Positioning Systems and laser guidance systems as well as all the core competencies required of any technician.
